BREAKING NEWS: ATF Backs down from banning Pistol Braces
After the initial draft about the request for public comment on “Objective Factors for Classifying Weapons with ‘Stabilizing Braces‘” in the Federal Register. was published by the ATF last week, creating a lot of trouble understanding the bottom line because of subjective guidelines in that draft, which caused the reaction coming from the people that are looking for their 2nd amendment rights to stay intact.
The ATF now has withdrawn its initial request, Here is the full announcement from the ATF:
ATF is announcing the withdrawal of a notice and request for comments entitled “Objective Factors for Classifying Weapons with ‘Stabilizing Braces’,” that was published on December 18, 2020.
ATF Deputy Director Marvin Richardson has just issued the following statement:
